We already had outline planning permission to build two detached houses on our land and had been searching for someone to draw up full plans and undertake the build project. We came across Falshaw Homes on the internet and arranged to meet with Granville Falshaw on site. We were immediately impressed with his knowledge base, professionalism and punctuality. He was also more than happy for us to go and look at other projects he had completed.

The land was in a small rural hamlet with strict design controls. We gave Granville a copy of the Design statement produced by the local planning department and discussed our ideas with him.

Granville drew up plans for two detached houses in accordance with these guidelines which we submitted to the planning department and full planning permission was granted.

During the build process – which was completed within 11 months – we found Granville to be extremely polite and helpful. Deadlines were met and the whole process was relatively ‘pain free’ under Granvilles’ excellent management skills.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Falshaw Homes and are already considering calling on Granvilles’ skills again for a further project.
